After displaying 'E-b' on its screen, the monitor could not be used. Does this mean that the machine is out of order?
The display of "E-b" is part of a design meant to prevent users from using the monitor under low-battery conditions, which will lead to incorrect test results. To use the monitor again, just insert new batteries.

"Lo (Hi)" appeared on the screen immediately after the test strip was inserted, but before performing the blood glucose test. Is this a malfunction?
If the blood glucose monitor senses that the surrounding temperature is inappropriate, it will display "Lo (Hi)", along with a symbol indicating an abnormal temperature () and five short beeps. When this happens, simply put the monitor in room temperature for 30 minutes.

Do test strips have to be preserved in a special environment?
It is possible for unsuitable preservation to cause defects in the test strips. We recommend that the test strips be preserved at a temperatures between10~40C(55-104C), and a relative humidity level under 95%.

Are there specific precautions concerning the usage of the test strips?
To prevent negative effects caused by improper preservation, test strips should be all used within three months after the opening of the can. Once a test strip has been taken out of the can, it should be used within five minutes. For specific details and descriptions, refer to the instruction manual. Does the blood glucose monitor require a lot of electrical energy? Will its batteries need to be replaced often?
The monitor will consume energy as long as it is turned on. According to our experimental tests, the monitor will perform more than 1000 tests if its CR2032 lithium batteries are unexpired, and it is used correctly.
